Sharp, Warm, Energetic Head Honcho
Lovin’ life and livin’ in New York City, my most recent endeavor is co-creating, writing, producing and starring in three seasons of web series, Morning Cup and Game Night: at Saddle Ranch Estates. You can also see me on the small screen (or large depending on your personal media room) on NBC's Celebrity Apprentice, Biography Channel’s Celebrity Ghost Stories, and in the film Ghost Notes, an Austin Film Festival participant.
I have performed on stage in NYC in Trojan Women with Hudson Warehouse (my singing debut as well!) and Alan Ball’s Five Women Wearing the Same Dress at The Duo Theatre. I’m also a cast member of the long running Sunday Night Improv show at 78th Street Theatre Lab.
My ongoing acting coach is Deborah Carlson with whom I was trained on Patsy Rodenberg’s Body, Breath, Word technique. My ongoing improv teacher is Tom Sotor and I’ve also trained with Carol Schindler and Carl Kissin. I studied on camera, audition and commercial technique with some of New York’s most prestigious casting directors.
Being a native Texan, I can speak several different Southern dialects (yes, there are several…it’s a big state). I love to travel and have been to many parts of Europe, Russia, the Caribbean, Mexico and all over the US. I am a trained dancer in ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, two-step, salsa and twirling (baton, fire and my hair when I’m nervous). I’ve had careers as a public school teacher and in the real estate and mortgage field but my most precious job is that of a loving (and exhausted) mother to four children.
